...are here, does that mean that spring is close by? It looked like it yesterday morning, but soon grey skies and rain took over again. Anyhow, these yellow little flowers make me happy and expectant! ****
I can't believe it's close to be done. Still 6 days to go of course (probably the most challenging) but it's been 24 days, amazing really! Not going to lie, it's getting difficult, very. I feel I'm limited and running out of options. However, It's definitely doable, in my circumstances and in better too. My mistake was made when picking my options. Not enough basics, to many patterns in cardigans and shirts/tops which means 1 thing, difficult to combine. And you know what that means? Next week, brace yourselves, you might be in for a senses treat! aka pattern galore. I really liked Day 20, stripes, lace skirt and brogues, my winner this week.
I have a crush. A crush on the 70's trend. It has happened before, as in fashion, it is a trend that comes and goes. Flare jeans, feminine blouses, and structured platforms. Love? Or maybe you wear a metallic Halston and rock the high heel sandals? Decisions. Will you be embracing the 1970's spring trend? How? I'm a gold lady, you?
Now now let me tell you I haven't been giving the royal wedding much thought, well I have as it's a Bank Holiday and Im thinking about plane tickets, how and when. But as per se I haven't thought much about it, ok lie again, I've thought about the dress, a couple of times. But I saw this poster by James Brown and I had to share. Im a massive James Brown fan and this is uber cute and surely to be collectable eventually! if any of you is interested it's here.
You might remember that last year I blogged about an editorial Vogue Spain did celebrating every woman's body. Well, they did it again and once again it's beautiful. Six talented spanish ladies with six different bodies are photographed in all their glory to show us all how beauty is everyone. In the tall one, the curvy, thin, athletic, petite or the pregnant one, because beauty is inside, it is!
Melanie is my fave. Truly. She is the queen of the parties and rocks a cardigan like no other, meaning she is a girl after my own heart. In the remote case you haven't heard of Melanie, head over her blog and check it out, it's going to be your fave!
One of my very favourite house tours of AT is this Barcelona one. Why? several reasons. One, it's in Catalonia, my home and the location in Barcelona makes me very very jealous, two, it's a beautiful home, with gorgeous windows and I Imagine tons of Mediterranean sun, and well three, I love seeing non US tours, don't get me wrong, I love seeing US tours, A LOT, but would love to see a bit more of Europe.
Look! I always look the same! Funny how we almost always end up posing the same way. I'm feeling more positive about the 30 for 30 this week. 18 days are now behind me, with 18 different outfits and hey only 12 to go! How has your weekend been? I didn't make it to Ikea, surprise! but my mom is coming on Thursday so we will try to make it together, which is even better.
Have I told you how much I love my Kindle, I have always enjoyed reading but now with the Kindle everything is so much easier and exciting somehow. Just finished the new John Grisham. I was such a Grisham fan, then I stopped -I read that this new one, The Confession, is one of his bests and very similar to his first great books and to be honest I really really enjoyed it. What are you reading right now?
Very long week. Happy it's the weekend. Hope you have a great time lovelies! Unfortunately I missed many many blogs/posts this week, but here are some of my faves! Hope to be able to seat and catch up!
Well it's almost almost here, the weekend is here! Is everyone excited? I certainly am! No specific plans, maybe a trip to Ikea. I have been thinking of going for ages but never made it. I would also like to pick up (somewhere?!) some vintage(y) tea tins to make something like this here. How gorgeous it is? I have wished many times I had a window just above the sink! *** *** Have a lovely weekend!
ah we all love a good collaboration, don't we now? And this one is like candy, Rodarte on one side, or really known as the Mulleavy sisters, and on the other the super hip store, Opening Ceremony. Two big names and a pretty fab spring result.
This home, featured in Homes and Gardens, has so many details I like. Like the kitchen floor for example, dark and subtle. The rustic elements, are you tired of hearing me saying it? The living room is crazy gorgeous, earthy colours, amazing accessories, a fab leather couch and a beautiful mustard arm chair. What's more to ask? oh yes, it's an English Edwardian house. ha! beat that...
I love Erin, she is one fine lady and I'm honoured to have her today sharing her My Stuff. Her blog, Apartment #34 is a reflection of her love to all the beautiful. Her styling work is fabulous and if you need help is this department you should definitely get in touch.
